Potable water tanks and covers as part of the project to upgrade and extend the potable water system for the city of Djibouti
The Vinci group has been working on improvements to and extending the potable water system for the city of Djibouti since 2011. This work has formed part of projects co-financed by the FADES Arabic economic and social development fund and by the government of Djibouti.
This work is supervised by ONEAD (Office National de l’Eau et de l’Assainissement de Djibouti), the Djibouti national water and sanitation office. In particular it involves the installation of potable water storage reservoirs and covers for rainwater disposal channels.
Apro Industrie is currently completing the installation of 5000 m² of covers as part of this project and is preparing to construct four potable water storage tanks with a total volume of five million litres.
